WORK METHODOLOGY

Site Survey: We will need to carry out a comprehensive site survey at the client’s location so as to know the equipment/gadgets/appliances the client will require to be on the system, and to also know the ideal locations where the systems (PV array, inverters, batteries and other items) will be installed. This survey includes physical assessment of the equipment and the use of hi-tech power devices like power analyser, energy meter, etc to collect data from the system.

Engineering Design: The data collected from the site survey carried out will be interpreted and applied to generate a bill of quantities (BOQ) / bill of materials (BOM) by applying all necessary engineering principles, practices and standards. This will also include the design and drawing of shop drawings and submission of same to the stakeholders to clearly show power flows and the right location of each equipment.

Project Management: Project management is very key in the execution of any project as it is what enables a good management of the three (3) areas of the project (scope, time and cost) while still keeping quality high. With this in place all the nine areas of project management (scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication, human resources, procurement and integration) are well taken care of so as to ensure a successful project implementation. Workable PIP is drawn to show the different stages/phases the project is to be executed. This will enable all stakeholders to be abreast of the progress of work and the next activity to be carried out on site. This may be revised/updated if the need arises.

Project Execution: This covers the period of the execution of the project from start to finish.

Project Commissioning & Signoff : Once the project has been executed representatives from the installers and the client come together to commission the project. This is done by going through the installation checklist to confirm that it was properly executed according to approved standards.
